The Pre-Prep department is a busy, happy place where children are enthusiastic about their learning and are always eager to share what they have learned with their teachers, peers and visitors.

We start each day together with an assembly, then head off to our classrooms where the children in the EYFS enjoy learning through play, following the Early Learning Goals of the Foundation Stage Curriculum.  They develop confidence and independence and a desire to learn.

In Key Stage 1 the curriculum is broad and specialist teachers take the children for French, Music and PE. We also have a wide range of extra-curricular activities on offer. Regular visits and use of the outdoor areas of the school also enhance the children’s learning and overall experience of school.

Our small class sizes and excellent staff pupil ratio allows us to get to know our children really well and ensure that all children receive the individual help they need to progress.

Promoting the self-confidence and self-esteem of our children within a happy and caring atmosphere is central to the teaching and learning in the Pre-Prep.

We aim to help each child reach their true potential and nurture children to become confident, well prepared and highly motivated learners. Personal, social and emotional development are just as important to a young child as academic achievement, and we ensure that children learn good manners, develop the ability to share, learn to care for others and take on responsibility.

We welcome visitors to our happy, vibrant school and look forward to having the opportunity to show you around.
